• In this example the CP is 20% of the symbol and since the delay spread was only15% the symbol is received cleanly from -0.05 to 1.
• In LTE the normal CP is 4.69 μs for a 66.7 μs symbol length This is a 7% sacrifice of capacity to provide multipath protection up to a 1.4 km delay spread.
• An extended CP up to 33.3 μs (10 km) exists with lower capacity .
