The PMC-Sierra PAS65006 OLT EDK with PAS5001 Reference Design
provides a fully functional Optical Line Terminal design for use in
an IEEE 802.3ah Gigabit Ethernet Passive Optical Network (GE-PON).
Designed using the high performance PAS5001 OLT device, this EDK
provides gigabit IEEE 802.3ah to gigabit Ethernet interface, with
GE-PON protocol management, advanced classification engine and an
embedded ARM9 processor.
The PMC-Sierra PAS65006 OLT EDK with PAS5001 Reference Design is
ideal for system OEMs and service providers to use to evaluate and
test PMC-Sierra PON products and to use as a building block in
developing application specific firmware and software.
