Enhanced support for FPGAs is one of the features announced as part of LabView version 8.5 at the opening keynote at National Instruments Week 2007 today.
In this short video clip Tim Dehne, senior vice president of R&D at National Instrument plays host while Vineet Aggarwal, product manager, data acquisition, at National Instruments shows his beatboxing skills.
The system used in the demo would surely be one expensive music mixer, but the whimsical demonstration shows the type of data-flow applications that you could attack with LabView 8.5 and an FPGA module.
