业界大牛Agilent此前给人的印象一直是关注于中高端测试测量设备，虽说没有继承HP时代几乎每出新品辄成经典的传奇，但是如果告诉你Agilent现在也出一些非常低端的仪器，一定能令众多粉丝惊讶的合不拢嘴。

如果你一直关注Agilent的动作的话，他们做低端仪器已经有好一阵子了，用官方的话说是开始于2005年，但真正在低端有大动作是在收购了台湾老牌的仪器厂商Escort（富贵）之后，在收购Escort的相当一段时间里，Agilent并没有急于将Escort的Logo换过来，而是从Escort最经典的仪表开始动手。首先改造的是Escort卓有声誉的台式万用表3346，再接着是手持万用表，LCR，校准源。Agilent专门将这一部分业务独立出来，叫LCI——low cost instruments。

这不新年伊始，Agilent就一口气推出了升级的B系列手持仪表，而在一种新品中唯一新出现的是钳表。手持仪表向来不是Agilent的专长，在这个市场上玩家不计其数，最为出名当数Fluke。在推出钳表以后，Agilent在手持万用表市场将直接和Fluke过招。至于Agilent能不能在这个极其混乱，玩家众多的市场上带来新意，值得期待。
